Kris Humphries' freedom bid from Kim

Kris Humphries told future wife Kim Kardashian he wanted some "freedom" from her.

The basketball star - who is set to marry the American socialite on August 20 - revealed he wanted a bit of peace and quiet from her when she crashed his bachelor party in Las Vegas last week.

Kris - who proposed to the 30-year-old stunner in May - told E! Online: "I told Kim, I said, 'Look, I'm turning my phone off, I'll see you back in L.A. Monday afternoon.

"She was like, 'No, you're not turning off your phone, I love you, you're not turning off your phone.' Like, it's our bachelor party, give me some freedom."

Kim couldn't resist inviting herself over to his event last Saturday, as Kim held her own celebration for their forthcoming marriage at Tao nightclub next door.

She celebrated with sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, who recently revealed her and mum Kris Jenner had been doing a lot of the work for the wedding.

Khloe explained: "I have no idea what's going on. But I've seen how much my mom has been doing, and I don't know how my mom does it! Kim should be kissing the ground that she walks on. It's amazing."
