From Hip-hop to Indian folk dance, contemporary to Bollywood masala... we have seen all these dance forms in the span of three months on Indian reality television show ‘Nach Baliye 5’.
After all the razzmatazz and high-voltage performance, TV audience bid adieu to the 11 charismatic couples.
But as ‘Nach Baliye 5' ended on a high note it paved way to another show that will keep the television viewers glued to their set and some of their favourite Nach Baliye couples back on screen.
The couples gave some spectacular, romantic performances during the show pledging unconditional love for each other. But that might not be the scenario very soon.
The new show titled 'Nach Baliye: Shriman vs. Shrimati' (Husband vs. wife) will see the partners split.
At the finale of ‘Nach Baliye 5’ it was confirmed that the show will be back soon but with a twist (which is evidently an essential part of keeping any TV series or reality show alive).
As per the new format the couples from different ‘Nach Baliye’ seasons will split on the dance floor. It will truly be a battle of the sexes this time!
One partner will challenge the other on the dance floor (golden chance for few to get back at their spouse!).
So, will this see a strain in the relationship of the couples or will it help them understand each other better.
‘Nach Baliye: Shriman vs Shrimati' will be aired from April 6 and the judge is none other than the Bollywood diva Shilpa Shetty.
Shilpa has previously judged another show in 2008 with similar concept titled ‘Zara Nach Ke Dikhaa’.
This time the participating couples include Tanaaz-Bhaktiyar Irani, Ravi Dubey-Sargun Mehta, Rahul-Dimpy Mahajan and Parag-Shefali Jariwala.
This is a new entrant - 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 5' winner Gurmeet Choudhary and his wife Debina Bonnerjee.
We hope ‘Nach Baliye: Shriman vs Shrimati' can keep the momentum going after ‘Nach Baliye 5’.
