New events season at Mushrif Central Park, Abu Dhabi

Mushrif Central Park opens its doors, this season, with a full range of activities and events for everyone to enjoy.

The season caters to families, adults, and little ones with fitness, fun, and entertainment for all in Abu Dhabi.

Launching the season with many events to look forward to including the 5th annual, award-winning Abu Dhabi Science Festival, Ripe Food & Craft Market in partnership with Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, Get Driver Fit Challenge, and Grammy Award winner Jordi Savall's concert featuring an ancient music ensemble and prominent Emirati artists.

Reopening on September 15 after closing for improvements throughout August, the park has assembled a diverse programme of events and activities for the public to enjoy at the park this coming season.

The 5th annual Abu Dhabi Science Festival will launch in its new location on November 12 for a two-week journey of education.

The park will also host a classical performance by Grammy Award winner Jordi Savall along with the ancient music ensemble Hespèrion XXI and Emirati artists as they recreate the music of Ibn Battuta’s travels.

Embark on this journey of enchanting ancient music on November 23.

As for those seeking fitness and a healthy lifestyle, Get Driver Fit Challenge brought to you by Daman's Activelife will get your heart pumping with classes in Mushrif Central Park every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from October 6 to November 19 as part of the Yasalam Festival.

Classes include high-intensity interval training, driver boot camp, and yoga.

There is still something for everyone including those who enjoy a more relaxed approach to fitness.

#WalkWithMeUAE is holding their free community walks every Saturday at 7pm in the lead-up to the main event Walk 2015 on November 13.

The popular crowd-favourite Ripe Food & Craft Market in partnership with Al Bayt Mitwahid Association returns this season on October 31 with approximately 40 vendors.

The market will bring together families and residents for an eclectic mix of food stalls, small businesses, artists, live music and entertainment, and so much more.

Set on the palm tree lined promenade at Mushrif Central Park, the Ripe Food & Craft Market will take place every Saturday from 4pm to 9pm for an evening of fun and entertainment to end the weekend underneath the stars.
