Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor was reportedly hospitalised late Saturday night, complaining of breathlessness and chest pains.
 
The son of legendary actor, Raj Kapoor, was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, where he was admitted into intensive care.
 
However, news reports are stating that the actor has been shifted into the general ward of the hospital now and is recuperating.
 
The prognosis is still unclear, however, it has been reported that both daughters, Karisma and Kareena, were by his side during his ordeal.
 
Times of India spoke to his sister-in-law, Neetu Singh, about his health, who said: “He had to undergo certain tests at the hospital. But there is nothing to worry about and he is not ill.
 
“I would rather say that these are very normal tests that the doctor had prescribed for him.”
 
The 65-year-old actor has worked in some notable films, including ‘Kasme Vaade’, ‘Kal Aaj Aur Kal’, ‘Jawani Dewani’ and many more.
 
Kapoor was last seen in Sajid Khan’s ‘Houseful 2’, which released earlier this year.
