Rita Ora suffers wardrobe malfunction at Met Gala

The Met Ball is nothing less than Oscar night for the fashion industry.

The Costume Institute Gala, better known as The Met Gala or Met Ball, went down on Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City -- where some of the biggest stars turned heads in some seriously stylish couture.

Celebrities spend sleepless nights to get it right on the red carpet of the most hit-and-miss night on the fashion calendar.

But leading the worst-dressed list at the Met Ball on Monday, was pop star Rita Ora.

Rita earned her place on the worst-dressed list of as she pulled apart her slit skirt, showing what should be kept under wraps.

Strutting on the red carpet Rita looked pretty - smiling at the cameras, doing fine, up until she bent too much spilling her assets out.

She then fling her slit dress to expose her underwear.

And while the 23-year-old tried to rectify the situation when she realised her panties were on show, it was far too late to spare her blushes.

The RIP star's donned a champagne coloured dress with puffy lace skirt, and her thigh high golden strappy high heels simply old fashion.

Donna Karan Atelier gown was billed as an 'antiqued matte gold sequined silk tulle gown with an asymmetrical sculpted train.'
