Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan is getting married to Delhi-based fiancé Aayush Sharma on November 18.

But this was not the original date that the two families had agreed upon.

Earlier the date for Arpita and Aayush's wedding was reported to be January 2015.

However, Arpita decided to reschedule her wedding date to coincide it with her parent's anniversary.

Since Salim and Salma's golden wedding anniversary is on the same day, it will be a double celebration for the Khan family.

Both the families had no objection and decided to reschedule it to November.

The preparations of this gala wedding are already underway and the wedding cards are out to be distributed.

Invitation cards have been sent out to the who's who of the entertainment, political and corporate world of India.

The entire Taj Falaknuma palace hotel in Hyderabad has been booked for two days as the wedding venue.

Arpita's wedding trousseau has been designed by top Indian designer Manish Malhotra.

Her elder brother, actor-filmmaker Sohail's wife Seema Khan along with Sangeeta Bijlani helped the bride finish the last leg of shopping.

The main ceremony will take place in Hyderabad on the November 18, followed by a grand function on the 19th and a reception in Mumbai on 21st.

The haldi ceremony (pre-wedding ritual) is on the 16 after which the family is flying down to Hyderabad.

Now the family is making sure that the pre-wedding ceremonies are also organised well with active participation of friends and relatives.

It is almost after 16 years that the Khan family will witness a wedding in their family.

And, as the Khans are known for their lavish and larger-than-life celebrations, this wedding is definitely going to be the one you would want to watch out for.
