Weirdest Complaints: Waiter too handsome, no steak in veg menu

It seems there is nothing that the guests at hotels won't do or complain about, either to get a discount or simply get the hotel to waive off the bill.

So, what are the strangest requests and prepostorous complaints that hotel guests gripe about?

We are not discussing requests such as an extra towel, or having an ironing board sent to the room, or replacement toilet rolls... these are simple requests and easy enough for concierges to arrange.

Requests like "Can I borrow a tie?" and "Can you write me a letter in French?" are also not in the same league.

Delusional guests with outrageous orders try the patience of hotel staff who have to cater to requests like - delivering 15 cucumbers per day; a plate of only the right legs of a chicken; single glass of water delivered to room on the hour, throughout the night, etc.

While the majority of the requests by these grasping guests are related to food, there are those crazy customers who try the patience of even the trained staff.

For example, the sound of goats bell to aid sleep; bath of chocolate milk or honey; toilet to be filled with mineral water, sea-facing room (even in a land-locked city).

Then, there are those guests for whom no tantrum is too ridiculous.

Right from sheets that are too white to the sea, which is too blue to ice cream that is too cold.

There's no pleasing some guests, reports flight comparison website Skyscanner, which also lists the following as weirdest complaints from hotel guests.

- Girlfriend’s snoring kept guest awake

- Guest’s dog didn’t enjoy his stay

- There was no steak on vegetarian menu

- Waiter was too handsome

- Mother of groom wasn’t given the honeymoon suite

Most of guests who make these crazy demands, do ask for refund or discount when their bizarre requests are diplomatically fobbed off by exasperated hotel staff.
