Ramadan paid parking timings cut in Abu Dhabi

The Department of Transport (DoT) in Abu Dhabi announced on Sunday that it will reduce Mawaqif paid timings during the holy month of Ramadan.

The new paid timings throughout the holy month will be spread out over two periods -- from    9am until 4pm, and from 10:30pm until 2:30am. Mawaqif fees remain unchanged during the holy month. 

The move comes as part of DoT’s strategy to provide effective car parking solutions to the public in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the aim of facilitating their parking and travel needs during the holy month.
