6-year-old Saudi shot dead while asleep

A six-year-old Saudi boy was killed after he was shot in the head by unknown source while asleep at his relatives’ home in the Gulf kingdom.
The boy was put in bed by his mother at his relatives’ house in the southern Jazan province during a visit by the family from the eastern province during Eid Al Fitr.

“The boy suddenly fell off the bed and hit the ground. His parents rushed to the bedroom and found that a bullet had struck him in the head,” Sabq daily said.

It quoted police as saying the bullet had penetrated the wall and that they were still investigating its source.

Man strangles friend to death

A young Saudi man strangled his friend to death during a fight that followed a heated argument in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper said on Saturday.

The two men were joking with each other when it developed into an argument which caused the fist fight in their southern home town of Hakima Abu Arish.

“One of them caught the other by the neck and strangled him to death. He fled the area but was arrested later,” Ajel daily said.
 
Man found hanging while family went to wedding

A young Saudi man was found hanging at home while his family was attending a wedding of a relative in another town in the Gulf Kingdom.
The unnamed man had told his family he would follow them to the wedding in the southern town of Bisha after finishing a private work.

When they returned home from the wedding, family members were shocked to find the man was hanging by the ceiling fan.

“Police opened an investigation into the case although they ruled out criminal act,” the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’ said.
