8-year-old raped by 3 men at knife-point

Three men raped an eight-year-old Egyptian girl at knife-point in the most populous Arab country.

The girl was walking home with her little brother when the three men in a mini-car forced her into the vehicle before driving away to a remote area near the northern Egyptian town of Mansoura, newspapers said.

They later drove back and dumped her from where they had picked her and fled. Police arrested the three after the girl provided them with the descriptions.

Newspapers said medical examination showed the girl did not lose her virginity and doctors attributed this to her age and lean body.

 

Man shot dead… brother dies of shock

A Saudi man was shot dead during a fight with a relative in the Gulf kingdom. A few minutes later, his brother dropped dead on hearing the news.

Police said the man was killed instantly after he was shot by his 30-year-old relative in the Western Res Sea port of Jeddah.

“When his brother heard the news, he collapsed. He was rushed to hospital but died later of a heart attack,” a police spokesman said, quoted by ‘Ajel’ newspaper.
