Adulterous couple get three months in jail

A Tunisian man and an Emirati woman each received three months in jail term for consensual sex and forging and using forged documents charges.

The man will be deported after serving his jail term.

A Tunisian who managed with his adultery partner to get a birth certificate for their baby girl by claiming the mother is his wife, has revealed the illicit relationship and the forgery in his country’s consulate, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

IMF, 39, assistant administrator who is married Emirati man had an adulterous relationship with JAB, 40, Tunisian, businessman. Adultery resulted in an illegitimate pregnancy and a baby girl was given birth to in Al Wasl Hospital On November 14, 2004.

Her complicit, JAB, has submitted to the hospital the passport photocopy of his actual Tunisian wife pretending that the woman who had the baby is a Tunisian and is his wife.

After finishing processing with the hospital JAB went to his country’s consulate where he willingly revealed his adulterous relationship which resulted in a baby girl who he is willing to register as if she were from his legitimate wife who is back in Tunisia. He told the consulate that he did not want to cause his complicit a scandal especially that she is married.

The consulate’s official notified the police.

In addition to consensual sex, the two were accused of forging official documents, an application for a birth certificate and using the document by submitting it to the hospital’s administration and the Tunisian Consulate.

The forensic report proved that the finger print of the baby’s mother that was in the hospital’s file proved that it belongs to the accused IMF.

The two were found guilty and were convicted for the accusations.
