“The fire has been extinguished and no one has been injured in the incident.”

Eyewitness Husamuddin Khan added: “I work in Cluster G and was alerted to the fire around 10.20am. Dubai Police vehicles arrived on the scene within minutes as we were watching, with Civil Defence arriving maybe 10 minutes later to put out the blaze.

“The fire has been completely extinguished, however, two lanes on Al Saryat Street were cordoned off by authorities currently as the debris was cleared.”

Another eyewitness confirmed the news, adding there appeared to be a liquid spill on two lanes, which were briefly closed to traffic.

Images indicate the vehicle that caught fire was a black Dodge Charger.
