Drowned body found after a week in RAK

Naval police in Ras Al Khaimah on Wednesday found a body of an Asian man who drowned off the emirate last week, press reports said on Thursday.

The body of the 26-year-old man, identified only as MM, was found trapped among coral reef and rocks in Khor Khowair, they said.

“It took us one week to find the body because it was caught in a rocky area in the water….this prevented the body from floating,” a navy source said.
