1,280 fake shisha items seized in Ajman

Ajman’s authorities seized nearly 1,280 fake shisha products during raids on cafes in the emirate as part of a campaign to clean up the local market.

Inspectors from the consumer protection and commercial control section at Ajman’s economic development department confiscated the items during random visits to cafes.

“Our inspectors seized 1,280 fake shisha items worth Dhthousands before they reached the consumers,” the section’s director Saud Al Shamri said.
