2 cars overturn after accident in RAK

Police blame high speed and not maintaining proper distance between vehicles for theaccident

Three people of Arab and Asian nationalities were injured in an accident involving three cars today morning at the Union Bridge of Ras Al Khaimah.

Captain Mohammed Al Daoua, Acting of the Head of the Patrols Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police, said: "The accident occurred due to high speed and not maintaining proper distance between vehicles. Three people were injured in the accident who were transferred to Ras Al Khaima Hospital. Two cars overturned after the accident, blocking the traffic movement and creating massive traffic jam.”

Mohammed stressed on the need to adhere to traffic rules and regulations to maintain safety of passengers and drivers.

He called on public to adhere to speed limits on the roads and leave proper distance between the vehicles.
