A 23-year-old Emirati was killed after his car slid and rolled down from Jebel Hafeet near the eastern oasis town of Al Ain, nearly three months after his elder brother died of cancer, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Nasser Al Baloushi was found dead in his car on Thursday and was buried in Al Ain on Monday, the semi official Arabic language daily Alittihad said.

It quoted police as saying his body was found inside the car near a rest house and that it suffered only slight damage.

His younger brother Saeed told the paper that Nassir’s death was a big shock to the family after the demise of his elder brother due to cancer, adding that Nassir married in December 2011 and had a six-month-old son.

“Nassir was a pleasant person and has good relations with all relatives and friends…he performed Omra (mini pilgrimage) five months ago,” he said.
