3 nabbed for selling fake currency

Three Pakistanis were arrested in Sharjah for attempting to sell fake Kuwaiti dinars.

Police received a tip-off about three people selling counterfeit currencies at various malls where the currency was not available.

A security team had been sent out to launch a probe following which the suspects were soon arrested and the fake notes were seized.

When questioned, the suspects confessed to the crime following which they were detained.

Sharjah police has warned people against buying or selling illegal and fake products as they affect the country’s economy.
