Morning commuters from Sharjah to Dubai were hit by a massive roadblock on Al Khail Road following an accident.
Eye-witnesses report that a truck appears to have crashed into the road median.
The accident occurred just before the flyover.
Dubai Police is on the scene and efforts are on to tow away the damaged truck.
A huge tailback was reported from just after the airport tunnel, right up to the accident site.
