Al Quoz Residential Park to be closed temporarily

Dubai Municipality will close Al Quoz Residential Park temporarily from December 12 to 31 in order to perform maintenance work and improvements to interior lighting systems.

The park is one of such facilities set up recently to serve the residents of Al Quoz residential area and contains many elements of entertainment, leisure and sports activities as well as green spaces for recreation and relaxation. The park was built at a total area of 1.98 hectares at a cost of Dh6.5 million.

It contains 1.6 hectares of green spaces which is equivalent to 80 per cent of the total area, and has been cultivated with land covers, flowers, trees and ornamental shrubs and other plants.

The park also includes area for playgrounds and sporting activities, such as a soccer field planted with green grass, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a jogging track, areas for games with umbrellas to protect children from the heat of the sun for children in the age group of 3-6 years and 6-12 years, in addition to a cafeteria.
