The Armani/Casa designed apartments in The World Towers in Mumbai, billed to be the world’s tallest residential towers, are being sold in Dubai.

And for the first time, these apartments are being offered for a limited time for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Labelled the “Monogram Collection” in Lodha Group’s Dh1.3-billion The World One project (450 metres), apartment prices are likely to range from Dh32 million onwards.

According to the developer, only nine fully furnished three-bedroom apartments are for sale, which will have limited edition furniture and furnishings created exclusively by Armani/Casa.

Giorgio Armani's interior design studio Armani/Casa has already designed residences in Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower, in Dubai.

Currently, the world’s three tallest residential towers – Princess Tower, 23 Marina and Elite Residence — are located in Dubai.

The World Towers, comprises two towers – The World One with 117 floors and the World Crest — is expected to be completed by 2014.

The project will come up on the 17-acre plot at Lower Parel, and will house three and four bedroom residences with super-luxurious duplex flats.

It will have over five acres of landscaped area, including an 80,000 square feet sports club at a height of 175 feet above ground and an observatory on the 99th floor (304 metres).
