Bieber 2013 Dubai concert almost sold out

Only the regular category of tickets remain, as Justin Bieber mania has tweens filling out the 25,000 capacity concert within three days

If you are a fan then it’s time to make haste, as the hottest ticket in town will fast sell out by the end of the day if insiders are to be believed.

Indeed, this is next year’s May 4 Justin Bieber concert that has UAE tweens in a tizzy.

The latest from organisers Done Events is that the Premium Standing tickets at Dh500 have also sold out, following the mad rush for the fan pit ones that were sold at Dh1000.

All that now remains is the regular standing category at Dh350, which may not last long enough.

Tickets for the tween superstar went on sale at midnight Friday for the 15,000 hopefuls that had registered for pre-sales.

In a statement earlier, Thomas Ovesen, COO of Done Events, said: “In my 12 years of doing concerts here in the UAE I have not seen such a demand for tickets.”

Bieber will perform live in Dubai at the Sevens Stadium.

Fans have inundated the Done Events Facebook page as the Bieber fever has people in its grip, with a chance to win tickets through the organisers.

Aya Younis said: “Oh my God, it will mean everything to see Justin Bieber live in concert. I love you J.B.”

Levoo Sayegh wrote: “I wish I get these two tickets; it will be for my sweet sixteen that I want to have and for my seven-year-old ‘Blieber’ sister.”

Mahir Hiro added: “It’s so amazing if I could win a pair of tickets for my sister, the perfect birthday gift to surprise. She will freak out, please give them to me. It would mean the world to see a smile on her face and mine.”
