Child shoots herself with dad's gun

A 12-year-old Saudi girl accidentally killed herself with her father’s hunting gun while she was fiddling with the weapon, a newspaper said on Sunday.

The father had left his loaded gun on the table at his home in the southern town of Sabya and went to the nearby mosque for prayer, Sabq said.

“When he returned, he found his daughter dead. She had accidentally shot herself in the head while playing with the gun,” the paper said.
