Cop reveals 'arrest info' to Dubai PRO

A Bangladeshi cop at Naif Police station, who revealed official information to an Indian received three months in jail.
 
MA, 37, was also ordered to pay Dh5,000 fine and to be deported after serving his jail term.
 
Indian PRO MB, 48, the bribe payer, was also sentenced to three months in jail followed by deportation.
 
In the beginning of 2015, the PRO, approached Corporal MA and asked him to check the security status of a number of people.
 
The accused used his colleague’s ID and password when he logged into the unified electronic system.
 
The holder of the ID and password did not have knowledge that the accused misused his trust.
 
He used to get Etisalat cards of Dh100 value for each name he checked.
 
He continued his deal with the Indian PRO until last March from early 2015.
 
Officers in the station received information about the Bangladeshi corporal
 
Police arrested the PRO and arranged with him to arrest the corporal red handed.
 
Criminal Evidence reported that the iPhone used by the two accused contained conversations, pictures and files related to the case.
