Driver molests teen as mom, siblings sleep

A 17-year-old Emirati student alleged that her driver abused her for almost two years, while he shared a room along with her mother and siblings, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The incident came to light when the victim, AQ, revealed her ordeal to her friend, who in turn informed the school management. The school informed police.

AQ told cops that the Pakistani driver, WK, abused her while she slept near him in a room, where her mother and other younger brothers also slept.

“He molested me while everyone was sleeping. I did not inform my mother who was busy. He’s also exploited me several times while I was alone at home,’ she told investigators.

The accused, meanwhile, claimed in court that it was consensual.

The court will give its verdict on January 6.
