An Arab man is on trial in Ras Al Khaimah on charges of beating up and molesting his sister while he was drunk, newspapers reported on Tuesday.
Police arrested the unnamed man after his sister reported that he came back home drunk and swore at her before beating and molesting her.
The judge on Monday adjourned hearings to next month for statements by the other sisters, who are also believed to have been abused by their brother.
