UAE's second telecom operator, du, said on Thursday evening that it has witnessed interruption in international fixed and mobile calls traffic to Syria starting 11:00 am today on 29 November.
A company statement said: ''As a result, customers may face difficulties in making calls to Syria - something which is totally out of our control.
''We would like to apologize to our customers for any inconvenience caused and assure them that we are taking all possible measures with the relevant carrier in Syria to restore the call traffic. We will keep you informed of any developments.''
