Du has launched its 100Mbits per sec broadband service, but your home may not be covered.

In a statement released on Tuesday, du said not all homes are covered by the ultra-fast connectivity.

“Very few customers are not eligible for this service because of infrastructure restrictions inside their building,” the company said without elaborating.

The company says its broadband customers subscribing to Talk & Surf or Talk, Surf & Watch package can upgrade to broadband download speeds of up to 100 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 10 Mbps.

For Talk and Surf customers the price is Dh999 while Talk, Surf and Watch customers can avail the Premium package for Dh1079.

Until now the fastest speed it was offering was 24MBits per second for Dh429 and Dh509 respectively. Etisalat’s Max offer of 30Mbits download speed is being offered for Dh49 for double pay and Dh529 for triple pay.

Meanwhile, those interested in subscribing to du’s new offer are advised to call their customer care number with full details of the location, address, name of the building and apartment number.
