Dubai Airport welcomes 3,000 Chinese tourists

Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs has welcomed the visit of a large group of 3,000 Chinese tourists who arrived in the UAE through Dubai International Airport.

Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, director general of the directorate,  said that the UAE had become a global tourist destination, adding: " Crowds of tourists are found in all good spots in the world."

He added: “We are proud and happy that the Chinese tourists have chosen to spend their 10-day vacation in the UAE.”

He also thanked the immigration staff at the airport who had shown their capability of receiving large numbers of visitors.
