Dubai Courts in coordination with 80 advocate offices offered for free 850 consultation hours during the first half of this year.
The department offered this service to 520 disputant parties under the programme entitled 'Shoor' which means consult.
The programme is aimed at giving the opportunity to disputants to get legal consultancy and help enlighten them with their rights and obligations in addition to judicial procedures.
It also helped spreading the knowledge of justice and equality of all before the law, said Shamsulddin Al Badawi, head of Litigant Guidance Section.
The programme bolstered confidence between society and the judicial system in all fields including civic, real estate, labour and personal status, he added.
