Dubai Economic Council confirms partnership with Pinsent Masons

Aiming to shape the future of a sustainable economy, the Dubai Economic Council (DEC) and international law firm Pinsent Masons (PM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining the terms of the strategic partnership in areas of collaboration.

The signing ceremony which took place at DEC headquarters included exchange and cooperation in execution of research studies, exchange of data and expertise in mutual areas of interest.

The Dubai Economic Council’s team was headed by His Excellency Mr. Hani Al Hamli, Secretary General of DEC along with his as well as members of the Corporate Social Responsibility team.

The delegation from Pinsent Masons was led by Mr. Sachin Kerur - Partner and Head of Gulf Region.

Al Hamli stressed the vital role the private sector plays in shaping the future of a sustainable economy through providing international best practices and services. His Excellency emphasized that the MOU signing is only the beginning of two way collaboration between DEC and PM.

The MOU was signed in good faith with the desire to strengthen collaborative efforts towards the achievement of mutual goals and the objectives set towards achieving them. He elaborated; the DEC this year has approached a broad number of companies and financial institutions which will work hand in hand with the Secretariat of Council to achieve the strategic vision of the wise leadership of Dubai and the UAE.
 
Mr. Sachin Kerur said that we consider this strategic partnership to be a vital artery through which ideas and innovations can pass between our two organisations.  To have the opportunity of partnering with an organization so esteemed as the DEC is an absolute privilege.
