Dubai resident accused of forging two visas

A jobless man allegedly forged two visas and handed them to two people for Dh15,500, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

According to the records, SMM, 37, Indian, claimed that he worked for a company which was recruiting 50 workers. He asked Mohammed Tafzil and Asheq Ali if they have relatives willing to work in the country.

They handed over the passport copies of two of their relatives.

The accused took two valid visas and interchanged the names on the visa copy  to those of the relatives.

There were no records to show how the case was revealed to the authorities.

The court will reconvene on August 1.
