Shamma bint Sohail Faris Al Mazroui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, has called via her Twitter account for Emirati youth to participate in determining the most important values and principles of the UAE under the ‘National Programme for the Values of Emirati Youth’.

This step comes within the framework of activating the participation of the Emirati youth in the programme, which aims to inculcate the values of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in the hearts of young and future generations in light of the care and approval of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, of the programme.

Mazroui, said the programme is a product of the leadership vision to keep abreast with the developments and preserve the achievements, stressing: "Our young people are looking to the future full of success that cannot be sustained without values," she added.

"Together we will disseminate our values... together we will promote these values in various aspects of our lives. The values are the most precious things we possess," the minister said.

She urged for the participation to determine these values through the #values_youth_Emirates, adding that "Together let us sort out the most important values that we want for our young people, to include them in the activities of the programme."

Mazroui said that a team for the national programme for the values of Emirati youth will be keen to review all posts and declare the values that will be added to the programme activities. It set August 10 as the deadline to receive messages.
