Etisalat local call bundles start from Dh1 per day

Etisalat announced on Monday the launch of daily local calling bundles, offering Wasel prepaid customers the opportunity to make local calls at discounted rates.

The daily bundles come in three flavours to address the needs of both low and high usage customers: Dh1 for 5 minutes; Dh2 for 10 minutes, and Dh4 for 30 minutes. The minutes can be used to call any mobile or landline number in the UAE.

Wasel prepaid line users can choose and subscribe to their preferred bundle for free by dialling *111#. Customers need to subscribe only once, and their preferred bundles will be renewed daily upon making the first local call of the day. There will be no charges on days subscribers do not make local calls, which is convenient for customers especially while travelling abroad on business or vacation.

Local calls made on Wasel prepaid lines beyond the bundled talk time will be charged at 0.6 fils per second starting  July 1. The rate for customers on old tariffs will be 36 fils per minute starting from July 1.

Customers on old tariffs can migrate to New Wasel and avail of per second billing by dialling *140# for free.

The new Wasel local calling bundles give customers the opportunity to make the most of the Etisalat network for their everyday calling needs at 20 fils for the Dh1 and Dh2 bundles, and less than 13.3fils per minute for the Dh4 bundle.
