Four Africans accused of possessing alcohol

The Dubai Court of Misdemeanour adjourned a case of four Africans accused of possessing about 1500 cans and bottles of alcohol for the purpose of trading.

They four accused were identified as AB from Uganda, OK from Mali, AB from Ugandan, and OH from Nigeria. The four were also accused of overstaying in the country.

While all the four accused have confessed the first accusation, only three of them have admitted to overstaying.

OK told the judge that his visa was valid when he was arrested on July 14 but later expired while he was in custody.

The case was adjourned for verdict until August 8.
