Free parking in Dubai today

The Traffic and Roads Agency, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that all parking areas in parts of Dubai will be free of charge during the holiday marking the Prophet’s Ascension Day (Isra and Mi'raj) corresponding to Saturday, May 16.

For now, the RTA said, the parking yard at the Fish Market as well as its multi-level parking are excluded from this exemption in order to provide parking slots for intended users.

The RTA also calls upon the public, especially motorists, to ensure the optimal use of parking spaces and urges motorists not to park their vehicles on pavements or block the movement of other vehicles, or they will risk applicable fines.
