Husband shoots wife in RAK, gives himself up

An Emirati woman was shot by her husband at home in Ras Al Khaimah.

Major General Ali Bin Alwan Al Naimi, Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, said that the police immediately moved to house upon being informed of the incident and found the woman injured after coming under fire from her husband.

The husband, also an Emirati, handed himself in to the police after the incident.

The wife was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Police are currently investigating the case, but initial reports suggest a heated argument was the cause of the attack.
