ID card mandatory for all Abu Dhabi transactions

The Executive Committee of Abu Dhabi Executive Council approved a proposal to make ID cards compulsory for all individuals' ransactions at all governmental department in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The proposal was presented in a note by the Abu Dhabi Systems and  Information Centre.

The approval was made at a meeting by the Committee chaired by Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bawardi, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

Several other decisions and approvals were made at the meeting.
