Jumeirah Restaurant Group to shut down Dubai's Tokyo@theTowers restaurant

Jumeirah Restaurant Group today announces the next stage of the company’s master plan to provide more market leading food and beverage outlets in Dubai.

They will be closing Tokyo@theTowers, located in Emirates Towers Boulevard, and will be re-opening the site in early 2017 with a new concept that will add to the rich and diverse range of outlets in the iconic building.

Harry Ghatto’s, the famous karaoke bar at the same venue, will also serve its final customers this evening (Wednesday 2nd November) after an incredible and memorable 16 years in the city.

We would like to thank our colleagues for their hard work and dedication, as well as our loyal guests for the support shown to Tokyo@theTowers and Harry Ghatto’s over the past 16 years. We look forward to introducing a brand new concept at the Boulevard early next year.”

This new project is part of a Jumeirah-led innovation plan for Emirates Towers Boulevard, which is seen as one of the city’s most important locations for both lifestyle and business.

Jumeirah Restaurant Group will announce further details as they are confirmed but wishes to thank the customers and colleagues from both venues.

ET Sushi, located below Tokyo@theTowers, will continue to set new standards for Japanese cuisine in Dubai with a menu featuring all-new sushi selections and reinventions of izakaya dishes.
