Maid robs Sharjah employer, twice?

A Filipina housemaid was accused of robbing her employer in Sharjah, twice, but she admitted to only burgling the house once in court.

Police searched the maid after her employer reported that she stole Dh1,700 from his house before fleeing.

She was arrested after she sneaked back into her employer’s house and stole jewellery, a mobile phone and other items from the bag of another maid.

She is also accused of robbing from his car “The maid confessed to the first crime, but denied stealing from the employer’s car and the maid’s bag,” Emarat Al Youm daily said, adding that she would be sentenced on November  23.
