Man kills friend over Dh300 after booze brawl

An Asian man is on trial on charges of murdering his friend over a Dh300 dispute during a booze night at their house in Ras Al Khaimah.

The two were having liquor with a third friend at their house last year when an argument erupted over the financial dispute, newspapers said on Sunday.

The defendant then pulled a knife and stabbed his friend twice, killing him instantly, they said, adding that Thursday’s hearings were adjourned.
