Man on trial in Ajman for raping, filming daughter

An Arab man is on trial in Ajman for raping his daughter, in her 20s, and filming her naked while having a bath, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The prosecutor also accused the unnamed man of sending “obscene” texts to his daughter’s mobile phone before raping her by force, Emirat Alyoum said.

It said the defendant denied the charges against him, prompting the judge to adjourn hearings to September 30.

“The judge decided to adjourn the session till the end of this month to hear the girl’s statements,” the paper said without giving further details.
