Man’s 3 wives fined Dh150 for quarrelling

A court in Ras Al Khaimah decided to punish three wives of an Emirati man for quarrelling by ordering each of them to pay Dh150 fine.

One wife had filed a suit against the other two, saying they swore at her before assaulting her, Alkhaleej newspaper reported.

When the judge summoned the other two, they both accused the other woman of starting the quarrel at home but denied they assaulted her.

“The judge decided to fine the three wives Dh150 each on charges of quarreling and swearing at other,” the paper said, without referring to their husband.

    150 AED??? This is just candy money for them. Should have fined the hubby as well :)
