Man to be deported for having sex with teenager

An Abu Dhabi court has sentenced an Asian expatriate to one year in prison to be followed by deportation for having sex with a foreign teenage girl, 'Al Ittihad' reported on Thursday.

The appeal court also annulled an earlier sentence by another court to jail and deport the 15-year-old girl and decided to hand her over to her family.

The girl had earlier told the court that the man forced her to have sex with him when he visited her house in Abu Dhabi but she later retracted the charge.

The newspaper did not identify the teenager or the Asian man, who confessed to court of having sex with the girl with her consent.
