Meraas, Almarai offer jobs in UAE, Saudi, Qatar

Dairy giant Almarai is looking to hire people for the 135 jobs it has advertised.

Most of these roles are based in Saudi Arabia but there are some openings in the UAE and Qatar as well.

The company is looking for brand manager, purchasing team leader, medical sales representative, product group manager, technical trainer, production planner among more than 100 other jobs that have been made available.

Salaries have not been specified by the company but it promises to provide a good work environment to its employees.

This includes supporting the occupational role of the employees, and providing a stable career path, undertaking employee opinion surveys to measure their occupational satisfaction, evaluating employees’ performance, and rewarding accomplished professions with moral and financial support and introducing policies to encourage employees, and reviewing wages periodically.

The company also focuses on training employees through several on-the-job programmes and individual courses at specialised institutes where needed.

Current and former employees on www.glassdoor.com give a good rating to the company and 78 per cent of them would recommend it to a friend looking for a job.

Anonymous postings on www.indeed.com, give the company 3.5 out of 5 for job work/life balance and compensation/benefits. They give a 4 out 5 stars to the company when it comes to job security/advancement, management and job culture.

Meraas

Fewer in numbers but Meraas Holding is also looking to hire. All the jobs posted by the company are full time and Dubai based.

The company is looking for senior officers in facilities management, process improvement, and graphic design. Risk manager, officer in retail/customer service among other personnel are also required.

No information on salaries or benefits is publicly available.

The company has made several initiatives in various macroeconomic sectors including tourism, leisure, real estate, development and asset management.

The company is developing the much talked about Dubai Parks and Resorts, which will include a Legoland, a Hollywood amusement resort and the first Bollywood movie theme park.
