Motorist attempts kidnap, Iranian held for drug

An Iranian grocer was arrested in possession of heroin and syringes in Salmiya. He was also under the influence of drugs at the time of arrest.

Meanwhile, police are looking for an unidentified motorist for attempting to kidnap an Asian woman in Mahboula, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. It is reported that his intention was to rape the 25-year-old Asian woman.

The woman complained that she was walking on the pavement on her way home when a man pulled over. He tried to convince her to come along but when the lady did not budge he came out and tried to pull her in.
