Muraqabbat Street reopened after car fire

UPDATE: Civil Defence officials have managed to bring a car fire under control, which broke out earlier today on Muraqabbat Street.

Dubai Police has partially closed the street to traffic as authorities were on the scene battling the blaze, which broke out in a white 4WD.

Dubai Police stated: “Fire accident in a vehicle on Murraqabat Street opposite [the] Patchi shop; the street has been partially closed for traffic.”

No further details are available at the time on the cause of fire or if someone has been injured.
