One dies in a car-truck collision in RAK

A 22-year-old Emirati died when his car collided into a truck in Ras Al Khaimah.

The accident occurred when his vehicle rammed into the truck on Saturday evening.

The truck driven by an Asian blocked the way on Khor Khuwaire Road.  The deceased drove into the roundabout without making sure that the road ahead was safe. He suffered serious injury and died on spot.

The body was extricated from his vehicle and taken to Saqr hospital before being handed over to his relatives.
