Businessman found dead in Dubai office

Dubai Police found the dead body of a Pakistani businessman in the office of an electronic products trading company in Qusais on Sunday evening.

“The office of Wings Star Electronics LLC at 305, on the third floor of Al Sajaya Building 2 in Qusais had remained closed for the past few days. The building managers called Dubai Police after foul smell started coming out of the office. On Sunday evening a Dubai Police team came to the building, opened the office and found a dead body,” said a source from an adjacent office in the residential and commercial building opposite Emirates Driving School.

“There were three four people working in Wings Star Electronics’ office and the person who was found dead in Room No.305 305 is Imran, a Pakistani national in his forties,” said the source.

According to residents of the building, the body was removed on Sunday evening and Dubai Police sealed the office room with a red and white ribbon.

“We don’t know whether it was suicide or not,” added another resident.

Several cargo, contracting and service companies including a women’s beauty parlour operate from the building.

“This company has been operating from our building for about two years now,” said the real estate manager of Al Sajaya Building.

The building’s guard also said he knew the person named Imran.

A resident of an adjacent building said he saw police and an ambulance below the building.

The cause of death is not yet known. Investigations are continuing.
