Du has announced the launch of Absher Plan, starting 27 March, for Emiratis in private sector.

"It comes in three denominations to suit the needs and lifestyle of Emiratis employed by the UAE private sector," said a du statement.

"Customers will benefit from unique numbers and special rewards on local and international calls, in addition to exclusive annual discounts of up to Dh1,500 on smartphones, and more."

The Plan is the first plan of its kind specifically designed for Emiratis working in the private sector, giving them a range of value-added benefits in support of their contributions towards the UAE. This step comes in association with the Ministry of Presidential affairs and Ministry of Labour under the Absher initiative.

Du is a key partner of the Absher Initiative. The Absher Plan  was announced during a joint press conference held at du's office on 27 March. Speaking at the conference was Humaid Bin Demas Suwaidi, Undersecretary, Ministry of Labour and Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer, du.
