Rain hits UAE: Residents wake up to pleasant morning

Heavy rains lashed several parts of the New Dubai area since the early hours of Thursday morning. The residents of the emirate woke up to the welcome sound of rains. 

Several parts of Dubai, including JLT, Emirates Hills, Springs, Media City, Discovery Gardens, Gardens, DIP, Motor City, received rainfall.

The National Center for Meteorology and Seismology had forecast rain in the UAE for Wednesday and Thursday. 

Several parts of Fujairah, Dibba, Al Aqah, Khorfakkan and Kalba witnessed rains accompanied with lightening and strong winds on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a report in Al Bayan.

Fujairah received about 9mm of rain on Tuesday.

The National Weather Bureau has warned motorists of low visibility and strong winds, especially in northern and eastern regions.

EARLIER ON WEDNESDAY: 

Meanwhile, day-time temperatures in the UAE are expected to decrease further, even as residents of Dubai woke up to yet another pleasant morning.

Towering clouds were seen over most parts of the Emirates.

Minimum temperature forecast for Wednesday is 11degrees centigrade in mountainous areas and a maximum of only 33degrees centigrade in some internal region.
 
However, humidity may hit 90 per cent because of overcast skies in coastal areas.
 
The sea is expected to be rough at times and beach goers are advised to stay safe.

    It rain very heavy in Fujairah / Kalba last night.Rain started at 10.15pm till 11.30pm, after long time good rain.Thanks Allah
